Lloyd Watson is director of Lloyd Watson Consulting Ltd. He has been a journalist for more than 30 years. The first seven years were spent working for newspapers and the remaining years have been in the television industry.

During that time he has worked as a reporter, news editor, head of news and current affairs and senior editor.

His experience includes regional, national and international journalism.

He has also travelled to more than 25 countries teaching television production techniques to TV journalists, making him one of the world's most experienced television trainers. (click here for full list of courses held).

Lloyd is also a director of the Broadcast Journalism Training Council and a member of the Royal Television Society. He sits on the editorial board of NewsXchange, and is a committee member of the Rory Peck Trust. He can be contacted at lloyd@lloydwatson.co.uk
